VENETIAN KNIFE FIGHT | 17 APRIL 2026 | LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM
I’ll never tell anyone how it got there, but one month into living in Venice, in an artist’s garret high above St. Marcs Square, overlooking the Torre dell'Orologio, I found myself with a cut beside my right eye. Blood ran down my cheek and through my beard, and Venetian Knife Fight was born.
A cut beside the right eye marks a shift in perception. In many traditions, the right eye is tied to logic, and engagement with the external world. An injury there suggests something altered, or earned. A different way of seeing.
During this transformative time, I’d sit for days, alternating between Harry’s Bar and the Aman, listening through my album edits, compiling notes inspired by the contrast of how close the work’s intricacies and sophistication were to my surrounds. Venice sharpened the record.
And in an expansive move forward, along with the release of the album - I humbly introduce Venetian Knife Fight. One-off, handmade artisan objects associated with these rich stories of adventure & self-discovery. Curated, collaborated, unearthed. More at venetianknifefight.com (password: vkf)
